Kelly Services is seeking Forklift Operator’s for an industry leading Chemical Company in Wilmington, IL, for a long term position. The person in this role will need to have strong Forklift Skills, able to work from general procedures and instructions, move material within warehouse and production environment in an accurate and timely manner, have strong communication skills, and must be Safety Conscious. Pay $15.00 per hour, with health benefits,holiday pay and paid time off!
+ Successfully complete all required EHS and Operations Training.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Valid Driver’s License
+ Certified forklift driver with a minimum of 6 months experience.
+ Ability to properly use approved cutting tools other required tools.
+ Ability to follow all safety guidelines.
+ Ability to read English and perform basic math functions.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Meet all requirements of the pre-employment Fitness for Duty assessment.
+ Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one s conduct.
+ Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
+ Ability to work successfully with a variety of people without making judgments.
Job Duties Responsibilities:
+ Be able to identify potential hazards in the workplace and to take action to eliminate/minimize risks.
+ Comply with all site rules and safety requirements.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Set-up packaging line for product being produced according to production spec. sheet.
+ Inspect pallets for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling according to specifications.
+ Perform daily forklift inspections.
+ Maintain levels of raw materials for production flow.
+ Remove trash, damaged pallets, and cardboard from production areas as needed.
+ Return unused raw materials and identify partial quantities with count tags.
+ Record production data as required.
+ Follow procedures on quality requirements.
Shift available – 2pm-10:30pm M-F
