We invite you to apply for a Postdoctoral Appointee position with our Nanoscience and Technology Division \(NST\)\.

In this role you will:

+ Perform first principles modeling in the areas of renewable energy materials \(photovoltaics, thermal management\), nanoscience, and interfacing first principles modeling with experimental measurements\.
+ Develop and implement of algorithms and software for first principles materials property prediction, and interfacing materials modeling with experimental data\.
+ Perform first principles modeling of renewable energy materials\.
+ Develop and implement algorithms and software\.
+ Initiate and maintain collaborations\.
+ Publish results in refereed journals and makes oral presentations at meetings conferences, symposia, and seminars\.
+ Maintain cognizance of available techniques and expertise in related research groups through interactions and collaborative efforts\.
+ Report on research progress, technique development, and new initiatives to peer reviewers and to program managers\.

We expect you to have:

+ Considerable expertise in density functional theory modeling of materials, modeling related to x\-ray, electron microscopy, or other characterization techniques, algorithmic and/or software development, and high performance computing\.
+ Excellent written and oral communications, and data analysis skills\.
+ Strong skills in collaboration and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment

To be eligible, candidates must have completed their Ph\.D\. within the last three years\.
