Job Description

Greco and Sons, a local food distribution company located in Bartlett, IL is seeking a Production Analyst will oversee the production of goods and/or provision of services. This role will also assist with the inventory control process and systems and develop and improve inventory control procedures as needed. The position partners with the plant management to understand financial impacts of the KPI’s and ensure accurate, timely and meaningful plant operations reporting and analysis.

If so, as a Production Analyst for Greco and Sons, you will help collect, process and evaluate data that will ultimately impact our profitability. We are looking for talented, hands-on, analytical people to help us drive results.
•Ensure accuracy of master data, recipes, production version, data load and costing validation
•Reports daily production and labor costs
•Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting
•Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory and expense information for various customers as needed for decision making purposes
•Monitor and manage plant absorption costing and conduct variance analysis
•Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
•Monitors and maintains current inventory level; tracks orders and investigates problems. Report all shortages, damages and miss-shipments on appropriate forms
•Develop cycle counting program
•Processes and documents return as required following established procedures
•Conduct product recalls and follow recall guidelines and regulations
•Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls
•Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

Food industry experience is a plus

Familiarity with USDA and HACCP
Analytical, problem solving and detail oriented
Self-starter capable of working independently in fast paced environment
Demonstrated solid working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word

Proficient in excel (v-look up, pivot tables, etc)
Team player and self-starter who will complete tasks and strive for excellence
Effective communication skills both oral and verbal
Superior organizational skills
