The Hybrid Cloud Services Sales Line Representative is a position in the IBM GTS organization responsible for sales of the IBM Cloud portfolio, Managed Services for Client’s Server, Storage, and Cloud Platforms, Data Center Management, and Selected Business Partner Offerings among other capabilities.
Senior technical & Cloud leader on the account, responsible for
+ Leading the overall Journey Cloud, and Cloud and technology strategy to win the key architectural battles, including defining and executing Opportunity Identification initiatives.
+ Cultivate deep client business and technical relationships with C-suite, decision makers and influencers (including LoB, CIO and Developers).
+ Drive the clients innovation agenda, around strategic IBM offerings, technology and platforms.
+ Represent the entire IBM Portfolio, with emphasis on Cloud & Cognitive transformation of the clients IT environment.
+ Responsible for detailed interpretation of business requirements as input to Cloud solution design process.
+ Integrate IBM’s technical community for the client, in order to create a compelling client value proposition.
+ Lead Agile teams and resources to drive technical progression of opportunities.
+ Differentiates IBM Cloud solutions and removes inhibitors through hands-on demonstration of IBM capabilities.
+ Accelerate adoption of IBM strategic platforms by promoting and leveraging IBMs global implementation experience.
+ Become the trusted technical advisor to the client, and the technical conscience of the IBM team.
+ Primary linkage back to IBM Research, corporate innovation programs and Cloud Unit on behalf of the client.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
+ Selling Cloud Services including but not limited to AWS & Azure Public Cloud solutions.
+ Certifications: AWS Business Professional, TCO and Cloud Economics, & Solutions Training for Partners: Foundations.
+ Technical SME on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, primarily focusing on infrastructure-as-a-service offerings and related operations technologies and best practices.
+ Ability to help customers better understand best practices on the AWS and Azure platforms and how to transition workloads to theses cloud platforms.
+ Ability to understand, provide face to face (f2f) value proposition capabilities, as well as sell and negotiate cloud managed services and Hybrid Cloud related solutions
+ Demonstrate customer experience in selling, progressing and closing complex, and often transformational solutions.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
+ Experience engaging directly with line of business executives to understand their key challenges and demonstrate and price solutions that fit their needs, building solutions using IBM GTS Hybrid Cloud Services portfolio
