Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for the construction, development, implementation and support of business software applications in one or more technical areas. Support end users by analyzing business requirements, policies and procedures and making recommendations for improvements to existing business software applications.

Responsibilities and Duties

+ Participate in SDLC process

+ Analyze system requirements

+ Develop technical specifications and architecture as defined by or in collaboration with Lead Developer

+ Write clean, testable code

+ Write unit tests

+ Test and debug applications

+ Review and refactor code

+ Build and deploy applications

+ Document development and deployment procedures

+ Provide guidelines in best practices and software patterns

+ Support and mentor junior developers

+ Meet deadlines and escalate risks to deadlines

+ Provide production support to assigned systems

Qualifications and Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) from a four-year college or university in the area of information technology or related fields,

+ Minimum of 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Knowledge and familiarity with Azure environment

+ Proficiency in building web-based applications

+ Strong knowledge of front-end libraries

+ Strong knowledge of C#.NET

+ Strong knowledge of T-SQL

+ Strong knowledge of design patterns
