Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to work onsite at our client’s facility located in Peoria, IL. Duties will include:

Duties will include:

+ Work in a team to design, develop, integrate and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in machine applications.

+ Machine software library development.

+ Test plan development and software validation.

+ Identification and resolution of software defects.

+ Scripting and software tools development.

Requirements:

+ 4 year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred. Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering is also acceptable.

+ Three or more years of experience in embedded C/C++ software development.

+ Working knowledge of embedded real time operating systems.

+ Experience with embedded software development tools such as ClearCase, Git, debuggers and compilers.

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3 rd party vendors please.
