Job Description

Bull Moose Industries is seeking an energetic, collaborative and customer-centric Demand and Pricing Analyst to support our business. The Demand and Pricing Analyst is responsible for the analysis, reporting and execution of the demand planning and pricing strategies in support of achieving the financial goals and objectives of Bull Moose Tube Company. This role is responsible for supporting sales forecasting, pricing integrity (accuracy), decision implementation, as well as monitoring and reporting on compliance to the agreed upon pricing policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement pricing process and pricing optimization tool to generate recommended pricing by product, geography, channel, and customer segmentation.
Serve as the Super User for the pricing program to update, maintain and configure pricing in the appropriate systems on a day to day basis as well as training others as needed.
Evaluate day to day pricing activities across the product categories and sales channels, analyzing and reporting on actual performance to determine if adjustments to the pricing strategy are needed.
Review pricing recommendations for accuracy and alignment to the Corporate Pricing Strategy.
Provide fact based analysis to the Pricing Committee to recommend pricing strategies, rules, and tactics resulting in achieving the organization’s objectives of: increased sales, profit, and/or market share with the corresponding trade-offs of each strategy’s approach.
Evaluate marketplace and competitive data to optimally align pricing strategies within the sales channels.
Develop and maintain metrics and reporting in support of achieving the objectives of the pricing strategies.
Support and facilitate the demand forecasting and SIOP processes.
Work well and communicate with Company functions and employees on an ongoing basis.
Education and Experience:

BA/BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Math preferred.
MBA a strong plus
2+ years experience in the following:
Data mining and building data models
Reviewing and analyzing market and competitive pricing data
Working with large transactional databases across multiple platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize detailed data sets to generate and effectively articulate insights across multiple levels of the organization
Advanced level Excel and Access capability, proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Machine Learning, Python a plus
Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
Ability to collaboratively enforce policies and apply financial principles to a business transaction
