Description: Schiff Hardin LLP’s busy Finance Practice Group is growing! We are seeking, for our Chicago office, a finance attorney with one to five years (2014 to 2018 J.D.) of experience representing banks, insurance companies, BDCs and/or other financial institutions in direct lending, secured and unsecured credit facilities, note purchases and debt private placements, including unitranche transactions. The ideal candidate would have solid transactional experience in a prominent finance group of a national law firm. Strong academic record and exceptional writing and oral communication skills are required. Candidates should be licensed and in good standing in Illinois (or if not licensed in Illinois prepared to sit for and pass the bar exam in Illinois).
