World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Lead Lab Technician to support our AT&T program and Logistics team located in Edwardsville, IL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Coordinates with internal management to gain an understanding of business requirements.

+ Successfully implements new projects using all available resources.

+ Maintains overall responsibility for interfacing with the internal organizations.

+ Tracks progress and reports to management.

+ Delivers and maintains the weekly and daily goals.

+ Responds appropriately to customer requests.

+ Provides assistance in developing processes and leading technical effort.

+ Completes projects on time and within guidelines.

+ Tracks and reports performance levels of Technicians.

+ Acts as point of contact for Technicians, management and customers.

+ Proactively identify and eliminate equipment demand/supply alignment gaps.

+ Achieves internal and external goals by coordinating with Inventory Control, Quality, Safety, Purchasing and Contract Administration.

+ Understands TL9000 and ISO9000 requirements and their relationship to warehousing.

+ Complies with and promotes safety guidelines.

+ Promotes a clean and organized warehouse operation and adheres to 5S initiatives

+ Adheres to all company human resources, quality, safety and operational policies

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Displays strong leadership skills and the ability to provide coaching and handle difficult conversations

+ Must have strong core values and a positive can do attitude

+ Must have 2+ year dealing with network product either in the field or in a warehouse environment with willingness to take hands on approach in leading their team through demonstration.

+ Strong technical aptitude.

+ Highly organized

+ Must have experience and work under pressure to meet project deadlines

+ Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manuals.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

+ Excellent knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems. Including installation requirements, cable management and troubleshooting.

+ Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

+ Excellent communication (written & verbal) and administrative skills.

+ High School Diploma or GED.
