Yield tests need to be performed on a daily basis and address the employees accordingly.

Promote safety in the production area with safety talks and checking PPE.

Make sure all products are cut to meeting desired specifications. ( weight, grade )

Use FIFO for all products ( raw material and finish goods).

Make sure all orders are filled.

Control and reduce overtime of the employees.

Work on continuous improvements, with the intention to increase production ( lbs/men/ hour).

Maximize profitability.

Make sure production entries are being properly done.

Report mechanical issues to maintenance.

Make sure all products are properly labeled and identified.

Check 40 day old report for raw material.

Check 6 day old report for finish goods.

Make sure all partial boxes are used.

Prep meat for following shift.

Fill attendance sheet.

Fill knife accountability sheet.

Perform walkthroughs at the beginning and at the end of the shift to make sure all is organized and nothing is being missed.
