Job Description

Our client, an Irish-domiciled global multinational risk management, insurance brokerage and advisory company, is currently seeking a Vendor Relationship Risk Specialist for a 4+ month contract with the opportunity to be extended. The position is located in Downers Grove, IL.

The hours for this position are as follows

+ Hours: Monday to Friday

+ 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm

Pay Rate: $35.00-$38.00/Hour

Day to day responsibilities:

+ Collect and examine documents and figure out if there efficient or if there are inefficiencies

+ If inefficiencies on documents, work with customers to get documents corrected

+ Ability to handle/process 40-45 units of work at any given time

+ Risk identifying and management

+ Work with multiple business partners

+ Closing actives

+ Identifies and manages risks associated with a product or service with the goal of improving vendor performance and compliance with applicable regulations.

+ Interfaces with vendors and organizational staff to interpret needs and provide accurate specifications.

+ Leads the review of new and existing contract assignments for compliance with applicable regulations.

+ Consults with vendors to remediate risks identified in assessment process. Recommends, initiates and/or drives improvement opportunities.

+ Prepares reports and required documents for management review.

+ Assesses and effectively manages all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure activities are in alignment with the bank’s and unit’s risk appetite and risk management framework.

+ Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Detail oriented

+ Accuracy

+ Ability to influence others to work together to meet goals

+ Experience with Process improvement

+ MS suite

+ Strong in excel

+ Experience with one of the following: SAS/ Archer/Arriba/Archer/SharePoint (not building or developing) just someone that knows how to navigate within the system

Ideal Candidate (nice to have skills ):

+ Risk management

+ Business analytics

+ Operations background

Years of overall experience required:

+ 2-4 years experience

Degrees or certifications required:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year’s work experience
