Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Wheeling, IL.

Your Role:

In this exciting role as a Quality Engineer you will be reviewing and improving quality systems as well as mentoring the plants on the production part approval process (PPAP), corrective action reports (CARs), and you will have the opportunity to:

+ Coordinate plant activities

+ Generate solutions by identifying and resolving issues in products and processes

+ Meet customer needs, respond to testing, and analyze complaints

+ Supervise quality associates

Ultimately, you will be a valuable resource and will help us in our effort to continuously improve and innovate.

We need you to have:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or statistics

+ A minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or quality assurance

+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

+ Working knowledge of good manufacturing process (GMP) requirements, hazard analysis, and safe quality food (SQF) level 2

Icing on the cake:

+ Experience with ISO 9000 or other quality systems

+ Quality System Audit experience

+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt of Black Belt training
