The Major Function/Purpose of this position is:

Assist in the day-to-day administrative and support operations of the laboratory as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and provide customer service.
Act as liaison between customers and the laboratory
Set up routing and billing information in relation to new accounts.
Update, print, and check invoices for errors daily.
Maintain routing and shipping procedures for the driver / delivery person.
Complete data entry of incoming cases in the computer.
Supply billing and wrapping inventory.
Unpack and disinfect incoming cases and attach invoices to case pans
Pack and ship outgoing cases.
Assemble mail boxes.
Keep work area neat, clean, and free of health and safety hazards.
Monitor special cases and communicate with management.
Maintain postage meter operations.
Correct daily time sheets and obtain approval from Lab Manager.
Maintain all daily and computer operations.
Other duties as asked by Lab Manager.
