Job Description

exp US Services Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with the following duties: select and schedule mechanical equipment; perform field verifications and take-offs; coordinate HVAC work; maintain Engineering calculation book for projects; analyze constant and variable flow systems and properly apply equipment. Perform load calculations, flow diagrams, equipment selection and sizing of process piping systems for industrial facilities; design industrial piping systems for science and technology facilities that comply with local codes and industry standards; review equipment submittals and shop drawings for HVAC and piping systems; perform site visits to assess the level of completion of construction and compliance with plans; generate technical reports based on site observations; gather and track project close-out documentation; model, size and produce plans of HVAC, piping and fire protection systems using Autocad and Revit; perform load calculations, flow diagrams, equipment selection and sizing of process piping systems for industrial facilities; write and edit specifications for industrial piping systems based on industry standards; perform heating, cooling and ventilation load calculations for HVAC systems per ASHRAE and ICC guidelines using HAP and Trace Software.
