Job Description

Ahern, one of the leading specialty contractors in the United States, has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Protection Construction Manager to join the team, serving customers in the Chicagoland area. This position will be based out of our Schaumburg, Illinois office. Building a first class reputation in the industry since 1880 did not happen by chance. How you will contribute:

You will drive strong performance of your team by selling profitable fire alarm and special hazard construction and service projects and executing exceptional customer service to customers. You will actively manage the profit and loss of the Chicago financials, determining annual contract sales goals for the region and individual sales team members’ goals. You will have direct oversight of sales, fire protection design and overall project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while mentoring and growing Ahern’s contract and service business.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will make the most of your 7+ years of experience in a construction type sales/project management type role in fire alarm and/ or special hazards. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
