Job Title: IT PM Coordinator
Duration: 3 month contract
Start Date: 9/3/19
Location: Chicago, IL 60607
Creating/Updating financial reports (currently within MS Excel) for a multi-million dollar program
Pull data from multiple sources to populate reports (i.e. SAP, MS Project online, other excel reports,..)
Track invoices and spend against project budgets
Report results to leadership
Review results with company financial team members
Update/reforecast project spend based on Resource (team member) changes or new locations added to the plan to receive JDA WMS
Create Capital Investment Requirement (CIR) estimates
Validate team members have updated submitted their weekly timesheets
Validate/approve timesheets submitted match the phase of the project;
Review consultant travel expenses confirming they meet company requirements
Create/update MS Project time plans/projects for timesheets to appear on team members timesheets
Schedule adhoc meetings and training sessions as needed
Provide Timesheet training as needed for new team members
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical area.
2+ years of experience or advanced degree with demonstrated ability generally associated with 2+ years’ experience in a project role. Experience with project coordination, project planning, task management, resource capacity planning, and budget tracking a plus.
Excellent communication skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills able to effectively communicate to management and the project team.
Excellent Organizational and Planning skills with ability to excel on a fast-paced project.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions.
Solid understanding and business acumen in warehouse management a plus.
Solid understanding of both agile and waterfall project methodologies.
