Job Description
Performs two dimensional (2-D) ultrasonice recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:
Evaluates technical quality of images to obtain representative images of pathogenic conditions.
Accurately provides physicians with oral and written summary of technical findings.
Accurately and consistently obtains and reviews patient’s history, physical examination information and supporting clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results.
Accurately performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
Consistently enters into PACS patient’s history, including pregnancy and obtains signatures on permits prior to procedures.
Accurately entering orders/ charges, examine data entry and revising requisitions into Clinstar and PACS.
Demonstrates accountability in working call and being available on weekend, evenings, nights, and holidays on a rotating basis.
Routinely educates patients and families based on assessed needs, and keeps them informed as the process continues.
Protects patients, visitors and employees by: keeping information confidential, following infection control guidelines for hand washing, cleaning and others as they apply to therapy and participating in proper operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
