Job Description

Keypath Education Schaumburg is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager professional to join our team.

As the Marketing Manager (MM), you will be responsible for the successful development and execution of marketing campaigns for the Online Program Management (OPM) partner school(s) that you are assigned to. You will be accountable for developing budgets, creating marketing plans and coordinating the execution of those plans for achieving lead volume and cost-per-lead goals for their programs. Working with internal teams and the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, managing, executing and analyzing programmatic marketing campaigns. As the MM, you are primarily accountable for achieving cost-effective student inquiry volume targets and secondarily for identifying and capturing target students who not only enroll but persist and graduate.

As the Marketing Manager, you will gain a deep understanding of the partner’s brand, programs and competition. You should be able to bring to Keypath Education a working knowledge of marketing research, creative, PPL, digital media, SEO, email marketing, web site development and social media with a focus on ROI for lead generation. You will ensure that the marketing mix quickly shifts from relying on paid media sources to organic lead generation and relationship marketing.

As the Marketing Manager, you may be expected to travel 15% or more during some months.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

+ Working with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for successful program marketing launches

+ Dotted line relationship with the OPM’s Managing Director for all partner marketing services

+ Develop deep understanding of partner programs

+ Brand

+ Target student

+ Competitors

+ Value prop/differentiation by program

+ Goals, objectives and constraints

+ Communicate strategy and direction for partner school to internal resources

+ Manage marketing campaign execution

+ Understand and communicate partner program brand and target students

+ Set and update campaign performance expectations for internal teams

+ Monitor KPIs to ensure planned performance expectations are met

+ Review creative and project status plans and escalate issues as necessary

+ With internal teams, develop and monitor testing plans

+ Accountable for:

+ Hitting inquiry volume and CPI targets

+ Adjusting marketing plans to meet enrollment forecasts

Things That Should Be in Your Background:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field of study


+ 3+ years demonstrated experience in the following:

+ Successful account management showing retention, growth and profitability

+ Proven ability to interpret data from multiple sources and translate into successful campaigns

+ Strong presentation skills to internal and external clients at all levels

+ Media and integrated marketing savvy

+ Experience managing budgets and expenses

+ Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

+ Special Requirements Specific to Job:

+ Able to develop and manage to performance metrics

+ Proactive

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Customer service skills

+ Respected leader

+ Agency type experience

+ An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector

Technical skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience with CRM.
