The individual in this role will serve as the team lead for a number of Therapy and Product education initiatives in Baxter’s US Acute Therapies team. In addition to growing awareness of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), this role requires a talented marketing lead to understand the broader implications and sources of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). In addition the individual will be responsible for portfolio education management of existing products, coordinating with launch planning for new products, and a portfolio commercial strategy for numerous critical care offerings.

Job Requirements:

+ Strategic Thinking – Solid ability to understand market trends, complex financial data, and customer needs to help define advanced planning and positioning strategies that create value and drive growth.

+ Customer Focus – A passion to represent Voice of Customer of patients and professionals to understand unmet market needs and cost-effective solutions. A proven track record of managing high profile customer relationships.

+ Therapy and Product Expertise – Strong ability to translate therapeutic goals and practices, along with technical product details, into easy to understand features and benefits in order to position with differentiated communication tools. Ability to design market research and then apply findings to overall education strategies.

+ Strong Team Player – High energy team player with a focus on meeting commitments and contributing to a high-performance culture, work in a multicultural matrix environment and build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional team members including third party vendors, quality, regulatory, supply chain, customer service, transportation, industry partners, and sales.

+ Communication – Ability to develop and execute verbal and written communication plans, messaging, and brand campaigns across multiple stakeholders, organization levels, and functions.

Education and Experience:

+ Proven skills in the areas of messaging, branding, creative product/program development, portfolio marketing, education delivery, and product pricing

+ Five years or more of experience in marketing; previous marketing experience with in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred

+ Strong results orientation with solid business acumen

+ Experience in acute renal therapies or similar product/therapy marketing and sales is highly valued

+ Prior experience with education delivery programs and curricula to HCP’s is highly valued

+ BS/BA bachelor’s degree required

+ MBA preferred
