The Applied Materials Division at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral appointee to perform research in small\-scale RF and printed electronic devices\. The successful candidate will engage in programs involving expertise in electrical engineering, materials science, bioscience, and chemical engineering\. The candidate will work to develop device fabrication and testing process, investigate new concepts and applications, and to communicate results and implications of work to collaborators and scientific community\.

The prospective candidate is expected to hold a Ph\.D\. in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, applied physics, or a closely related field\. A strong background in RF device design and testing is desired\. Additional requirements include:

+ Skills in using computer software for device simulation, experiment design, and data treatment, such as ANSIS HFSS, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, and SolidWorks\.
+ Skills in electrical and RF property testing\.
+ Skills in structure and structure analysis, such as XRD, SEM, TEM\.
+ Good oral and written communication skills\.
+ Self\-motivated independent worker as well as good team player\.
+ Experience with nanowire growth via electrodeposition method is a plus\.
