Job Description

You’re an energetic and creative Technical Training Professional, a self-starter looking for your next ideal career move. As our Technical Training Developer, based in Tinley Park, Illinois, at Panduit’s luminous World Headquarters, your primary mission will be to apply world-class instructional design methodologies to develop comprehensive learning solutions that will educate not only Panduit employees but our partners and end-users. Key to your success will be your broad range of knowledge, your ability to multi-task and remain organized within our fast-paced work environment. You will utilize your project management expertise as you map and guide the production of e-learning training courses from original requirements documents or diagrams, into development and then deployment. A Bachelor’s degree plus three years of work experience in Training Development or a related field or five years of work experience in Training Development or a related field is required. Previous success with teaching or training in the technology field is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate in the creation and testing of new technical training content with various forms of delivery – instructor-led, web-based and video.
Lead or participate in training needs assessments to identify the skills, knowledge and information gaps of a particular audience or department.
Work with subject matter experts (Engineering, Controls, Research and Development, Project Engineering) to research and develop training materials.
Update existing training courses/materials with the latest information
Review course materials with subject matter experts and update based on feedback.
Prepare training for upload to the Cornerstone Learning Management System.
Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.
Your Talent Toolbox Will Include:

BS/BA degree in Education or Training with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of training-related work experience
Ability to interpret technical data, processes, operating and maintenance instructions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledgeable in Articulate, or other eLearning training development software, and learning management systems; 2-4 years’ experience preferred
Expertise in developing, planning, implementing, and assessing training.
Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter
Knowledge of adult learning and training practices
Excellent communications skills (oral and written); give and receive feedback effectively
Graphics Creation

Knowledge of video development a plus
Screencast Video Creation & Editing
Visual Design
Development of Instructor-Led Training
VILT (Virtual Instructor-Led Training) Development
eLearning Development
Instructional Design/Adult Learning
Adobe Creative Cloud – Specifically, Photoshop & Illustrator
Knowledge of Adobe Connect a plus
Articulate Storyline 360
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams & Forms
