Develop and build electronic instrumentation for use in high energy physics experiments and other scientific research\. Conceive, design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate electronic circuits and systems\. Design and develop subcomponents for readout systems, including system integration, testing in the laboratory, and field testing\. Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic, electromechanical components, equipment, systems, and networks, including radar and radiation detection equipment, communications equipment and systems, circuitry components, controls and test equipment, and semiconductors\. Design electrical equipment, controls, components, systems, and products\. Assess capabilities of existing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks for R&D projects focused on discovering new knowledge about products and processes; apply that knowledge to create new and improved products and processes\. Provide systems analysis of electronic systems and subsystems, Develop and apply inspection and test procedures for components and systems\. Conduct experimental tests on equipment and evaluate results\. Develop specifications for selecting components and equipment to use\.

Master’s degree in Physics, Electronics Engineering or a related field plus three \(3\)

years of physics, electronics engineering, or related research experience

designing and operating digital circuits; testing components; using electronic

test equipment and troubleshooting techniques; developing research projects;

utilizing various tools and technologies \(e\.g\. C, C\\, LabView, Python\)\.
