Obstetrics and Gynecology
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking 2 full-time faculty members to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division. Currently the MFM Division consists of two highly experienced, Board-certified MFMs. The Division has a long-standing ABOG-approved MFM Fellowship; presently there are two MFM fellows.
Applicant must demonstrate experience and excellence in clinical responsibilities. Duties will include on and off-site MFM clinics, resident and fellow MFM clinics, ultrasound, ambulatory procedures, antepartum, surgery, perinatal network activities including M&M rounds at local hospitals, antepartum and out-of-hospital MFM coverage. Evidence of prior and ongoing scholarly activity is required. Clincial genetics expertise advantageous. Educational duties will incldue teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows. Proven research in maternal fetal medicine is desired; transferable external funding will be given special consideration
Candidates must have MD degree or equivalent, be eligible for unrestricted medical license in Illinois, be Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and BC/BE in Maternal Fetal Medicine, or equivalent.
