Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Administrator III – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE for our Central Region office in Aurora, IL. Responsibilities include administrative support focused on account payables. Must be organized and able to multi-task, must work well in a team environment, must communicate well both verbally and in written communications.
Major Job Elements:
Responsible for maintaining and handling weekly accounts payable – coding, matching to packing slip or accrual, securing approvals and data entry
Verify monthly statements and related transactions and respond to all vendor inquiries
Ensuring subcontractor certificates of insurance are up to date
Backup for weekly payroll processing
Backup for New Hires / Rehires – Onboarding Process
Other duties/projects as assigned
Minimum High School diploma or Equivalent
Must have at least 5 years Accounts Payable experience
Knowledge of basic account principles and processes
Construction experience preferred
Familiarity with the Work Order System, Penta or JD Edwards a plus
Ability to cross train and work well with others
Must be detail oriented and extremely accurate
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow processes, and alert management when escalation is needed
Demonstrated degree of professionalism and confidentiality
