This position directly supports Medline’s Physician Office and Surgery Centers businesses and reports to the Specialty Finance Manager. The position involves analyzing and investigating complex information reported in the internal financial statements and other key financial reports. Providing forward-looking strategic support to business partners within senior management is a primary focus for this role.

Another key facet of this role will include gaining exposure to other sales offices and fostering partnerships with business partners in the Specialty segment with the intent of providing a more complete understanding of Medline’s various sales channels and strategies across the continuum of care. This will largely be driven by strategic targeting of high-impact projects that challenge the individual to get outside of their comfort zone and extend their understanding of the business.


    Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis; Communicate and present results and forward-looking strategic support to sales office leadership and their teams in the form of in-depth monthly business reviews Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments Engage with the sales offices through national sales meetings, sales rep ride-alongs, industry trade shows, etc. in order to gain a more complete understanding of the industry-specific and broad economic factors impacting our businesses Create, facilitate, and guide initiatives to improve profitability for existing business through actionable feedback/proposals Support the month end close process Assist in the preparation of management reports to be distributed to the executive leadership team Reporting standardization and development

Job Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Relevant Work Experience
    At least 4 years basic Finance experience, at least 2 years of which are on Financial planning, reporting and analysis

    Advanced skill level in ERP financial systems – SAP experience is a plus Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (preferably with Power Pivot, PowerQuery, sensitivity analysis, etc.)
