Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Services is looking for a proficient SAP HANA S/4 Finance consultant with an excellent knowledge of S/4HANA Finance solutions combined with relevant Life-Science industry leading practices (primarily around M&A, global deployments, month end close processes, consolidations, finance analytics and profitability analysis, BOM level product costing). This role will assist in leading S/4HANA adoption discussions with the customer and demonstrating the business benefits of S/4HANA. The consultant should have experience in S/4HANA implementations or migration and deployment of these solutions. The consultant should be aware of the S/4HANA roadmap differences between releases and new innovations. Familiarity with new cloud offerings from SAP is a plus. The role should provide application functional support and implementation in SAP Applications, including the module areas of Finance – General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset (FA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Controlling – Profitability Analysis (PA), Product Costing, Profitability Controlling Analysis (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Material Ledger, for the FICO role. The role will require excellent oral and written communication skills. The individual is expected to perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to production, to training and post-live support and fixes.
Responsibilities will include Team Lead Management and accountability, Integration with other work streams and peripheral system, Cross team management and inter dependencies, Communication / Change Management planning of the finance community.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
+ 5+ years SAP Functional experience
+ multiple full lifecycle implementation experience
+ 10+ years of finance relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions
+ 10+ years of People/Team Management
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
+ Up to 75% or 4 days a week (home on weekends – based on project requirements)
