This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a senior finance analyst who will perform Financial Systems Governance functions for ADM. The FSG team has broad responsibilities for managing the development, use, and output of systems used by the ADM Finance teams, including

+ Governance of the reporting produced from HFM, our ledgers, and our BI environment, including ensuring standardized reporting and quality assurance for subject areas and reports.

+ The design and creation of financial meta and master data for the global finance functions for the ADM ledgers, consolidation system, and the 1ADM projects.

+ The continued development and deployment of ADM’s financial ledgers and adjacent systems, and a role in protecting the systems’ control environments.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Perform report governance functions to accurately screen, assign and prioritize report requests

+ Design, create, review and execute the requests for new met and master data elements

+ Support all 1ADM releases, improvements and system modifications as they pertain to reporting and HFM metadata

+ Contribute as needed across the enterprise during resolution of operational issues and global process improvements

+ Contribute to the FSG team’s development, updating and maintenance of departmental procedures, tools, and metrics

+ Monitor and ensure that the Company’s metadata business rules, policies and procedures are adhered to by the Segments globally

+ Innovation and creativity are required in this role

+ Regular communication across boundaries to increase the effectiveness of the business is an important aspect of this position

Job Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Technology, or other related field, or 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance master data operations in Hyperion consolidations or planning applications, SAP, JDE, Oracle or other top-tier general ledger, or Enterprise MDM required

+ Concentration or minor in Information Systems, or business analysis (BA) certification highly preferred

+ 3-5 years’ experience with BI (business intelligence) required in a reporting environment such as BO, OBIEE, or SAPBW highly preferred

+ Prior experience with multi-functional communication and cooperation, prefer global experience

+ Intermediate or better Excel and Access skills (pivots, macros, etc.)

Knowledge and Skills Inventory:

+ Confirmed ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Experience with business process improvement (e.g., Green Belt) or process mapping

+ Superb communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to professionally represent company policies and procedures, both written and oral

+ Ability to problem-solve using available resources, and purposefully escalate when additional resources may be required

+ Ability to travel on both domestic and extended-stay, international trips

+ Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and to work outside the normal 8-5 work schedule

+ Ability to function independently in a deadline-oriented environment

+ Ability to provide creative solutions and strong organizational skills

+ Dependable with a strong desire to learn and contribute to team efforts

+ Ability to prioritize multiple priorities, work under time constraints, and meet deadlines

+ Knowledge of various ADM processes and internal controls is a plus
