This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

This individual will perform analysis of requests and capabilities to ensure the team’s governance and maintenance of meta and master data aligns with business rules, policies, procedures and controls to effectively satisfy the system requirements of the consolidations and local ledgers. These duties are performed applying an understanding of the business requirements of ADM’s businesses and operations worldwide. The position will analyze requirements against data models and business rules, and will also perform operational duties which ensure the data element creation/change processes are accurate and efficient. The individual will interact with employees globally.

Job Requirements

+ Advanced Excel skills and proficient user of MS Outlook

+ Good system aptitude and working knowledge of Word, Access and other DB and reporting tools

+ Working knowledge of J. D. Edwards (JDE), Hyperion, IBM, and SharePoint

+ A great teammate with strong customer service skills, both oral and written

+ Ability to work independently and apply judgment

+ Ability to consistently apply rules to tasks and decisions, and explain decisions to customers

+ Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to a changing environment

+ Innovation and creativity are required in this role

+ Flexible, dependable and detail focused

+ Ability to work outside normal office hours

+ Process refinement skills desired but not required

+ 4 year degree in accounting, business or IT or 2-4 years’ experience governing master data

Job Responsibilities

+ Full Customer support for Financial Systems Governance/Maintenance and Hyperion Support

+ Process changes to financial systems, security set-up and running reports

+ Administer Place master records, and monitor data quality

+ Facilitate annual Place master reviews; provide annual 10K reporting support for facilities

+ Provide master data requestor training for all relevant applications

+ Hyperion – metadata requests, mapping requests, security

+ WebJV – grant security, verify post approvals, administer quarterly reviews for completeness

+ Security reporting such as pulling information for insider trading list

+ Establish new master data elements in their-scope local ledgers

+ Update and maintain the corporation’s financial master records database, ensuring all parameters are accurate and maintained timely including foreign currency tables

+ Support all 1ADM releases, improvements and system modifications

+ Contribute as needed across the enterprise during resolution of operational issues and global process improvements

+ Participate in the development, updating and maintenance of departmental procedures, tools, and metrics for the master data team

+ Monitor and ensure that the Company’s master data business rules, policies and procedures are adhered to by the Segments across all ledgers and the consolidation system

+ Regular communication across boundaries to increase the efficiency of the business is an important aspect of this position
