Baxter’s Nutrition business operates in ~75 countries, represents approximately $900M in sales, and supports more than 3,000 products codes across 6 major product families. Parenteral nutrition prescribing practices and Baxter’s products vary widely by country and contribute to a complex business portfolio.

Developing effective global promotional mix strategies, pricing strategies, market maps, competitive assessments and product roadmaps for core products is critical to realizing and maximizing Nutrition’s growth. This role will be supporting the ExactaMix automated compounder portfolio. An individual with strong business acumen and critical thinking skills with experience in marketing is being requested to support these activities.

+ Lead multiple workstreams identifying and prioritizing user needs through a variety of methods including customer visits, advisory boards, market research, etc. leveraging BioDesign process

+ Lead market research, data analytics and projects to support the overall product roadmap influencing end of life decisions

+ Develops and performs scenario analysis to assist management in understanding the risk/benefit tradeoffs between various strategic options and opportunities.

+ Drives market research requirements and metrics to support key strategic questions and required insights.

+ Understand the market and competitive environment to help set pricing targets and build commercial plans

+ Manages day-to-day product management activities for the ExactaMix portfolio.


+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Science/Technology required; MBA preferred.

+ 2-5 or more years of combined work experiences

+ Medical device or software experience required

+ Solid problem structuring and solving skills including quantitative and qualitative ideas and assumptions

+ Strong leadership skills. Ability to facilitate and manage cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and oral communication skills.

+ Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess competitive intelligence data.

+ High level of proficiency in PowerPoint presentation and Excel skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with a high degree of autonomy.

+ Highly ambitious and a self-starter; actively thinks about opportunities and how to drive results.

+ Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly evolving situations.

+ Proven success in driving results, taking ownership with entrepreneurial spirit to get things done

+ Track record in leading projects to successful completion.
