WillScot seeks an experienced construction project manager (PM) to manage modular projects to successful completion: safely, on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations!

This highly visible role drives customer satisfaction and project margin through effective costing, planning, and vendor or team management. Hard work, talent, and the will to succeed count at WillScot; we need a multi-talented, hands-on PM who can communicate and coordinate at all levels of the organization. ABOUT THE JOB:

WillScot PMs coordinate all aspects of the modular construction project, including the design, construction contracts, cost estimates, and other related documents. Build relationships with customer and maintain a team environment with sales force.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Visit customer site to determine needs. Meet with customer to survey equipment, site conditions, and present proposals and provide any customer service required. Coordinate and organize the design with in house area site crews, CADD Department personnel, the modular manufacturer, various subcontractors, outside engineering firms and the customer. Prepare estimates and proposals for modular construction projects. Establish and maintain construction budgets. Perform cost tracking on all projects. Control project expense, staying within the budget, and monitoring the project schedule. Select and supervise subcontractors and vendors on site. Manage quality control of product throughout project. Negotiate contracts and change orders. Provide technical and estimating support to the sales and business development teams. Develop a rapport to grow new business. Responsible for coordinating work of Site Supers, subcontractors and vendors assigned to the project on site.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High school degree BS or AS in a Construction related field strongly preferred 5 year’s minimum demonstrated successful experience in construction management related activities Proven abilities with project management, estimating, and cost tracking Proven successful skills in negotiating construction and subcontractor contracts Experience in Modular Construction a plus High degree of initiative and strong customer service focus Effective interpersonal, organization and communication skills required Working knowledge of MS Office/Excel/Outlook The ability to travel to assigned projects regularly including overnight travel.
