ZNA Services (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an Internal Consulting Manager to shape and independently execute on key portions of strategic consulting engagements. Specific duties include: identifying the problems to solve by disaggregating top management challenges across strategy, operations, finance, underwriting, claims, innovation, and more into prioritized constituent components; generating hypotheses and testing them by leveraging research and experience to establish a working point of view, and then evaluating and assessing the availability and feasibility of collecting reliable data to test those ideas, and executing on the complex analyses with minimal direction or support; synthesizing insights into documents for an executive/C-suite audience that call out the most impactful insights in a manner that enables and encourages effective decision-making; verbally communicating insights in a compelling and effective manner to colleagues at all levels in the organization; highlighting business issues and opportunities beyond the scope of the defined project across a wide range of top management focus areas; proposing options on how to address business issues to the leaders of the respective business areas; and developing pragmatic and actionable recommendations to address the concerns and opportunities raised. Position requires regular travel within the U.S. and internationally.
Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, or a closely related field of study, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as an Associate – Management Consultant, or similar position in the Management Consulting area. Specific consulting experience must include: working on projects related to the insurance industry; working with C-Suite executives; working internationally either overseas or due to involvement in global projects; applying analytical and problem-solving skills; communicating complex concepts verbally and in writing; leading teams in a consulting setting; working collaboratively in a team setting; and leading and driving impact through others. Must be willing to regularly travel within the U.S. and internationally.
