Job Description


The IT Application Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining internal and customer facing enterprise applications, as well as supporting the associated servers, databases, applications, and code base. This position will also be responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities and analyzing system issues, along with designing and testing standards and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain custom built applications and application integrations
Partner with business analyst and users to understand business requirements
Translate business requirements into technical requirements
Evaluate alternative solutions to meet business needs
Define application integration requirements
Ensure software and system are configured to meet business and technical requirements and meet best practices
Develop and test existing custom applications or integrations
Manage changes to customer built applications or application integration following the defined change management process
Work with vendor resources to develop or modify custom built applications or applications integrations
Implement best practices and data standards in integrations
Develop thorough understanding of existing custom applications and integrations
Document changes to custom applications and integrations
Document data interactions and flows between systems
Support, maintain, and modify databases as needed
Ensure integrity of data and reports with areas of responsibility
Produce solution cost and resource estimates based on requirements and statements of work
Ensure that solutions meet all legal, internal controls, and accounting standards
Participate in special projects or perform other duties as required


5+ years’ experience in information technology
2+ years’ experience working with Apex, SOQL, Triggers, and SalesForce
2+ years’ experience working with CSS/HTML, JavaScript, JavaScript Framework (React, Angular, or other)
2+ years’ experience working with native and/or hybrid mobile apps
Familiarity working with databases and SQL, specifically MySQL
Familiarity working with Visual Force and Webservices in Salesforce
Knowledge of multi-unit or restaurant terminology and business practices desired
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent

Desire to learn new technology as the technology roadmap evolves, in particular the Salesforce platform (, Heroku, etc.)
Experience with both front end and back end web development
Ability to manage and coordinate major complex projects/services
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests
Ability to adapt quickly to change and handle ambiguity
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with differing knowledge levels and technical ability
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process
Ability to plan and implement projects on time and within budget
Ability to reconcile competing demands between conflicting interests and priorities
Excellent decision making skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
