    Th The Distributor Sales team is responsible for being the primary point of contact and developing long-term relationships with the largest distributors of Medline’s products.

    Job Responsibilities
      Perform regularly scheduled maintenance audits for various pricing considerations to ensure a high level of pricing accuracy

  • Prepares and analyzes audit reports to identify and address invalid or unfavorable pricing Identifies the need for and develops new audits to limit exposure to inaccurate or unfavorable pricing Audits distributor acquisition pricing annually & semi-annually with consideration to profitability, end-user pricing, sales volume, discounts, and identifying inventory control concerns Researches Distributor short shipment claims for credit authorization Strategic account management of Distributors with high demand of data manipulation Calculates rebates and incentives to Distributors, manages payment process, and audits trending for any necessary accrual changes Works closely with the Distributor Sales & Information System teams to troubleshoot discrepant balances, aide in addressing all processing issues, and provide support in testing SAP trouble tickets Continuously assess current audit procedures, and based on findings, make recommendations for process improvements Assist in training/coaching Distributor Sales team in identifying data issues and appropriate SOP Supporting all month-end closing procedures related to tracings data Recap monthly findings to Manager, Distributor Relations with recommendations for actions and improvements necessary Ad Hoc data reporting to Divisions, Sales Management, Sales Compensation, and other areas

    Job Qualifications
    Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Statistics.
    Relevant Work Experience
    • At least 3 years experience in sales analysis or related area.

    • Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables.

    • analyzing data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement

    • controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines

    • High Intermediate-Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (specific skills required: managing data across multiple sheets and workbooks, using filters and pivot tables, sum, conditional, string manipulation, macros, and lookup function

    • Ability to successfully apply standard financial and business problem solving skills to business problems with multiple variables

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
