Responsible for development, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of liquified natural gas (LNG) to power, natural gas-fueled, and cogeneration power plants across North America and Latin America, with a strong focus on Latin America. Manage an international team of engineers, permitting consultants and contractors working to develop and construct projects through North, Central and South America. Responsible for preparing permit applications, local governmental relations, creating project specifications, managing project site personnel, preparing bidding processes to select external contractors and vendors, evaluating bids, managing major equipment manufacturers supplying combustion turbines, reciprocating engines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators, and other mechanical and electrical power generation equipment.Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or in a related field and 4 years of Engineering Management experience as Engineering Manager, Engineering Director or a related managerial position in the power industry, specifically natural gas fueled generation projects.Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in the following: 1. 4 years of experience with natural gas-fueled power plants, such as, gas-fired combined cycles, reciprocating engines, cogeneration plants, LNG and other industrial facilities; 2. 2 years of experience with international project development; 3. 4 years of experience in engineering and construction of power generation plants across North and Latin America; 4 years of experience with power plant design and configuration; 2 years of experience with power plant permitting; 4 years of experience in project management and other management roles. Up to 50% travel. Foreign Language Requirement: Spanish.
