This position will demonstrate our core values: integrity, commitment, sustainability and quality.   Christie Clinic nurses nurture working relationships with providers, nurses and other team members to care for our patients and their families. In this position, you will administer care to acute and non-acute patients as well as educating patients on disease prevention and wellness.  

We are currently seeking a full-time RN/LPN in our Internal Medicine department.

Responsibilities

Conducts patients’ assessments
Assists providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures and follow up care
Provides appropriate treatments and nursing interventions
Documents data and assessments in the patient record
Provide phone triage and address patients’ concerns
Patient health counseling and instruction including emotional support to patients and caregivers
Qualifications

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking skills
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Current valid nursing license in The State of Illinois
2 years of clinical practice experience as an RN/LPN providing direct clinical care to the patient
