ABOUT THE UNIT
The University of Chicago Campaign: Inquiry and Impact (http://campaign.uchicago.edu), the most ambitious and comprehensive campaign in the University’s history, is raising $5 billion+ to support faculty and researchers, practitioners and patients, and students and programs across the University. The campaign supports priorities in every division, school, department, and institute. Along with its fundraising goal, the campaign has an equally ambitious goal of engaging 125,000 alumni and friends through intellectual, professional, and social activities on campus, around the world, and online. Within the University-wide Inquiry and Impact Campaign, the College aims to raise $700 to support the educational goals of its undergraduates, including support for financial aid, teaching and research, career development, housing, athletics, and international study. Reporting jointly to the Dean of the College, John W. Boyer and to the Vice President of Alumni Relations and Development, College Development advances philanthropic partnerships with key alumni, parents and friends of the College to support these goals.

Major & Principal Gifts
Manages and executes strategies designed to meet University fundraising goals. Builds relationships with faculty and administrators to support prospect visits. Builds relationships with alumni, parents, families and friends, with potential to make gifts in support of the University. Develops communication plans for individual solicitations.
