ABOUT THE UNIT
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Special Programs College Prep (OSP-CP), the Associate Director of Curriculum and Program Evaluation (AD) will support the mission of OSP-CP serving as an active member of the OSP-CP leadership team, whose role is to drive organizational development and decision making in service of the Office of Civic Engagement s emerging plan for college readiness and access. The AD will be a highly-effective, flexible innovator, who will leverage his/her experience and expertise to support the effective and efficient identification, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of the OSP-CP curricular options. Furthermore, the implementation effort for the position has been organized as a portfolio of projects and programmatic oversight across the following primary categories: Program Management: Serve as an active member of the OSP-CP Leadership Team and manage student workers, part-time, full-time and seasonal instructional staff. Curriculum Development: Identification, Design, Teaching Theory and Innovative Implementation. Assessment and Evaluation: Content and Instructional Methodologies, Infrastructure for Analytics and Reporting.
Responsible for campus academic affairs functions, including general administration, administrative support, academic planning and analysis, academic programs, faculty affairs, faculty research and development, institutional studies, off-campus programs, teacher credential programs, and academic information systems.
CAREER TRACK AND JOB LEVEL
Designs and implements education outreach programs and community relations strategies. Coordinates with national, state and local organizations. Engaging in fund raising efforts.
P2: Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
The job performs a range of professional activities and solves straightforward problems in the development and implementation of education outreach programs.
1) Assists with the development and implementation of education outreach programs. May collaborate with teachers on implementing curriculum in the classroom., 2) Evaluates and documents performance of programs, making or recommending improvements when appropriate., 3) Prepares program communications, including creating and coordinating dissemination of program materials
2) Master s degree
1) Minimum five to seven years of relevant educational experience as an instructor or administrator for K-12 Education or undergraduate students required.
