PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
As a chief technical resource for Aquify, design
and implement smart water solutions, lead customers through event response, and
optimize water system performance using our growing suite of cutting-edge
hardware and software technology. The ideal candidate will be an experienced
consultant, project manager, or engineer with direct drinking water utility
experience. This is a great position for
someone with a water system engineering background, strong analytical skills,
and an entrepreneurial spirit to help shape the future of smart water in the US.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
+ Project Development and Execution
+ DMA plan development, including utility network analysis, potentially using hydraulic modelling tools, and cost estimation for these plans to support proposal development
+ Sales meeting support from a technical engineering perspective
+ Construction bid package development, bid response evaluation, and contractor selection
+ Field installation scheduling, coordination, and oversight
+ Customer data source identification and coordination to extract and export data to Aquify’s analytics software
+ Utilize Aquify’s analytics tools to understand system events, develop specific recommendations for action, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to our customers in managing open events to closure.
+ Identify deficiencies or opportunities for customers to further optimize their drinking water systems.
+ Meet with customers to deliver system performance reports on a periodic basis and discuss additional opportunities to support customers in realizing the value of the Aquify solution.
+ Contribute significantly to the technology and service roadmap for Aquify by:
+ Staying abreast of relevant technology advances, competitor products and services, and engineering approaches.
+ Sharing knowledge, insights, best practices, and ideas with the Aquify team to continue the rapid advancement of our value proposition.
+ Sourcing new technologies for incorporation into current and future Aquify service offerings.
+ Gather and provide feedback and input, both from customers and your own observations, to improve Aquify processes, services, and customer experiences.
+ 8+ years’ experience in consulting, water utility engineering/project management/operations, and/or or tech
+ B.S. in an engineering or otherwise technical field
+ Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
+ Excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite
+ Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and government officials
+ A strong desire for ownership and accountability
+ Passion for sustainability and water system advancement
+ Master’s degree in a technical field
+ Licensed Professional Engineer
