Sr. Consultants have a responsibility to provide good service to our clients as a routine component of daily work. In addition, there are a number of activities (with the list still evolving) that need to be performed to sell projects and services, manage engagements, management of clients, and support administrative activities. Performing these activities is vital to the continuing success of Change Healthcare’s Consulting Group.

Location: Remote/Telecommuter position with up to 80% overnight travel required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Advise clients, and manage client and internal projects, and deliver consulting level deliverables
  • Business development by identifying sales opportunities with new clients and identify additional opportunities in existing clients
  • Work directly with a V.P. to develop their service line or focus area from a business development, staffing, and methodology perspective
  • Responsible for Service delivery
  • Sr. level consultants manage client related projects Client Management to include:Develop/manage relationship with senior management
    Product monthly status reports
  • Participate in the sales process (SOW, resource requests, project budget and other documents as needed)
  • Internal Meetings – participate in management meetings and company calls and meetings
  • Participate as needed, in service line or focus area bus development and methodology -Focus on a broad set of service or focus areas
  • May work as a Sr PM, PD, Sr BA, Sr TA dependent on projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales

  • Identify opportunities with new clients
  • Identify additional opportunities in existing clients
  • Participate in the sales process (SOW, resource requests, project budget and other documents as needed)
  • Close the deal

Engagement Management

  • Orient HTMS team members
  • Guide HTMS project team activities
  • Review/Revise deliverables
  • Update Share Point for client files on a timely basis (deliverables, communications, status reports and project management documents)
  • Review and recommend for HTMS Methodology
  • Produce weekly client project status reports
  • Monthly review of project financials
  • Weekly review/approval of time and expenses (Quick Arrow)

Client Management

  • Develop/manage relationship with senior management
  • Product monthly status reports
  • Review and approve Invoices

Service Delivery

  • Responsible for full time service delivery

Internal Management

  • Develop and maintain designated service line(s) or practice area(s)strategic plan
    business development plan in coordination with HTMS VP of Marketing
    staffing in coordination with HTMS Chief Operation Officer
    related methodology/tool
  • Meetings – participate in management meetings and HTMS company calls and meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

5-10 years experience in medical management (Payer and /or Provider).

Education:

Clinician (RN/BSN is preferred;)

MSW meeting job description requirements will also be considered.

Critical Skills:

Knowledge and experience in working with Medicare and Medicaid is required

Familiarity with system configuration and implementation of care management applications is essential.

Knowledge of interfaces with core claims systems such as QNXT, Facets, HealthEdge or Epic is a key consideration.

This is a remote position but the candidate must be able to travel up to 80%.

Preferred Skills:

Experience providing clinical consulting is a plus.

Specific familiarity with Medi-Cal and Medicaid programs in DE, PA, FL or TX is preferred
