SIUE is pleased to announce open recruitment to fill various current/future openings for Food Service Cashiers. This is an Open Recruitment Civil Service posting at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Open Recruitment indicates an ongoing need to recruit persons interested in this job title. Food Service Cashiers provide fast and accurate reports of food purchases. These positions are responsible for proper money handling techniques of all payment transactions in the University Center Food Services areas. The selected candidates will report directly to the Administrator III responsible for cashiers.
Food Service Cashiers may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals. Shifts for these part-time and/or full-time openings will include daytime, evening and weekend hours.
