Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will be supporting enterprise voice and data technologies with a focus on voice services including Cisco UC, SBC’s, SIP, Unity, Jabber, MPLS, QoS, UCCE, MS Skype and various 3rd party contact center solutions. This position is responsible for planning and designing complex data and voice communication networks: 1) Research and development of voice, contact center & networking technologies; 2) Understand business requirements and design solutions to meet requirements; 3) Develop project plans and coordinate across IT functions 4) Implementation of new technology and systems, installation and maintenance of infrastructure; 5) and contribution to establishing and maintaining standards and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
This position requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
This position also requires 7+ years of experience in the data/voice communications field.
The successful candidate will have experience in logical design of voice & contact center solutions, research and development, and hands-on configuration.
A strong focus on teamwork, communication, and documentation. Performs analysis of maintenance failures, research trends, causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures.

  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco related voice and contact center components
  • Experience in design, implementation, and support of Cisco UC and UCCE.
