_ PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT_
Plans, organizes, and directs the energy service and delivery functions of the company in assigned area. Leads all aspects relating to external and internal energy projects. Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.
_ SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP_
Supervises and leads the energy delivery and service personnel in assigned area. Provides leadership, sets performance expectations, provides feedback, and actively maintains performance management standards.
Assists in the training of new energy delivery personnel focusing on the operational side of the position, including operation and on-going maintenance of the trucks and bulk plants.
_ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_
Collaborates with energy sales specialists in an effort to generate additional, profitable sales throughout the year.
Receives and responds to customer inquiries, complaints, and needs in the best interest of the customer, as well as the company’s well-being.
Through coordination with operations manager, maintains, updates, and monitors company energy bulk plant facilities, equipment, and rolling stock.
Plans, organizes, and directs internal and external energy larger scope projects.
Assists energy delivery and service personnel with special projects or needs.
Supervises, schedules, leads, trains, and develops area energy personnel on a daily basis.
Approves time records, vacation requests, and purchase requisitions.
Coordinates with location and energy delivery personnel to maintain adequate inventory and order product at company bulk plants.
_ OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_
Assists the Energy Division Sales and Marketing Manager upon request.
Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.
Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adheres to the uniform policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related area of the equivalent thereof, and 3-5 years or more of service-related work experience to demonstrate knowledge to effectively manage the service, projects, and personnel.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must obtain and maintain all applicable licenses, certifications, and/or permits as required in order to perform the required duties.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and have the ability to travel independently and overnight.
Ability to work extended hours or on call as business conditions warrant. Occasionally exposed to or required to perform work tasks that may include:
? Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, mud, snow, ice, wind, etc.)
? Noisy conditions ? Conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical, and mechanical hazards with appropriate safety measures
? Lifting 51 – 70 lbs.
? Pulling /dragging up to 70 lbs for a distance of up to 100 ft
? Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding
? May be required to work at varying heights and on platforms
? Maneuvering barrels or drums of product with a minimum weight of 450 lbs
