WSP is currently initiating a search for a strong self-motivated analyst for the position of a Process Analyst intern at our Lisle, IL office from May to August 2020. This opportunity is available for a college student in good standing working towards a degree in Business Development, Economics, International Development, Information or Telecommunications Technology or other relevant field. The candidate will gain experience working with the Illinois Tollway under direct supervision of the firm’s leading professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Work as a member of a team.

+ Basic skills on data collection and analysis.

+ Analyze and evaluate existing activities, workflows and processes.

+ Ability to work as the sole Process Analyst in a fast paced environment.

+ Develop methodology and document business processes to ensure process documentation is current.

+ Create databases and develop information systems and materials to facilitate the data driven decision making.

  1. Job Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

+ Good standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student, actively enrolled in an accredited Engineering (or related) Undergraduate or Graduate Program.

+ Strong communication and writing skills.

+ Detail oriented with strong time-management skills.

+ Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in order to obtain information needed quickly.

+ Local candidates preferred. Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Drive for learning new skills and ability to push past current comfort zone.

+ An understanding of the role technology plays in work environment, irrespective of domain.

+ Strong data analysis skills (i.e. ability to identify key information used for data-driven business decisions).

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Access.
