Position Overview:

The Director of Operations reports to the Executive Director and serves on the executive management team. The position assists in determining and defining the needs of the community in which the agency serves as a basis for program development; directs the planning, organizing and administering of agency-wide programs, provides leadership and direction to specific agency functions, develops a broad program plan designed to maximize potential fund-raising and financial management, and aids the Executive Director in formulating and administering Agency policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify program goals in collaboration with Executive Director and department heads.
Strategize, develop, implement, monitor, analyze and report on programs that advance YOS’ mission.
Supervise work of Director of Behavioral Health, Director of Juvenile Justice, and the Prevention Manager.
Work with Director of Revenue Growth and Partnerships to increase visibility, awareness, and effectiveness of programs, including grant writing.
Develop program schedule and ensure adherence to all timetables.
Establish and adhere to overall and individual annual program budgets.
Serve as liaison with external stakeholders as needed.
Travel locally and nationally as needed.
