Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for responding to and assisting colleagues, former colleagues, their covered dependents, and leaders with questions and inquiries about HSHS benefit plans, Human Resources (HR) policies, and HR processes and procedures in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Completes a variety of administrative support tasks and processes associated with HR and system-wide benefits following documented processes, procedures, and policies.
Education
Bachelors-Related Discipline-Required
Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Will consider candidates with extensive healthcare-related benefits experience.
Experience
2 Years-Human Resources-Required
Preference given to applicants with a working knowledge of benefit plans, FMLA, and short term disability developed through prior experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are needed. Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-Preferred
Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)-Preferred
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CBES)-Preferred

- This is a call center position supporting our Colleague Benefits and Leave of Absence teams in our Colleague Service Center.
- This roll will have a set schedule but could change due to business needs in the call center.
