Job Summary

Elmhurst College invites applications for a clinical-track assistant professor for the Master in Public Health program in the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Essential Functions

Primary responsibilities will be to teach in and seek accreditation for the MPH program, and begin planning for a BS in public health program.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

. Doctorate in public health and experience in public health program administration.
. Experience teaching MPH courses and evidence of previous scholarly activity, with continuation of scholarship on hire.
. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential.
. Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Preferred Qualifications

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
