Job Description

Coordinate and execute the planning, procurement and distribution of a select group of purchased finished good materials.

  • Execute Purchasing: Generate PO’s. Manage changes.

  • Manage Supply Flow: Prioritize/De-Prioritize PO’s.

  • Vendor Tracking: Monitor and Analyze Reporting on Vendor Performance.

  • Reporting and Presentation: Meetings to discuss Supply or Vendor Issues with Key Stakeholders

  • Vendor Management: Monitoring and managing inbound service. Characterized by Medline branded vendors.

  • Independent Troubleshooting: MRP, Service, Inventory, Supplier, and Demand issues for Purchasing Outcomes.

  • Data Expertise: Detailed Knowledge of SAP Master Data. Working knowledge of demand planning inputs and sales orders. Thorough knowledge of IM formula.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of corporate purchasing or buying experience.


  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).


  • Bachelor’s degree.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Previous buying experience in a systems driven environment.

  • Background in inventory supply chain, customer service or operations.

Certification / Licensure
  • APICS Certification

  • Experience with SAP, Access, AS400 and/or FoxPro.
