Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the efficient movement of materials that supply production and that are returned from production. In order to reduce variances and eliminate downtime on each production line and item produced. Also responsible for communicating labor & material needs for production to the Logistics Manager. Communication with line supervisors, raw & dry auditors, and logistic supply lift operators is also required to ensure all operational moves have been captured and completed accurately.
Responsibilities
Maintains proper operational adherence to the company SOP’s, attendance policies and safety program (Safety Bingo/3 Strike Policy)
Ensures daily KPI’s and Work Orders are tracked and reported to the Process Quality Analyst accordingly.
Ensures seamless shift changeover (i.e. Production Shift Summary/Open Work Orders/Schedule Changes/Carry-overs/etc.)
Reviews daily production/transfer/inbound schedules to determine any open material needs to minimize any production down time and limit change over’s.
Tracks, verifies, and corrects quantities used on daily work orders to match quantities counted by Inventory Specialist. Investigates any large discrepancies.
Reconciles work orders utilizing RB Variance Reports for each production run and investigates any large discrepancies according to BOM quantities based on the number produced.
Reviews final production schedule for next day, verifies in-house quantities of raw materials and ensure all release requests are placed per the Materials Coordinator for the following day.
Reviews next day material needs with Packaging Materials Coordinator and Raw Materials Counter to assure arrival in a timely manner in order to meet production demands.
Supports logistics personnel in locating in house materials and supplies and any other duties as assigned by Shift Manager or Director of Logistics.
Assists accounting department in the reconciling of any questionable work order discrepancies.

Must work in refrigerated environment of 32 to 40 degrees. Must work flexible hours. Must work in non-air-conditioned environments.
