THIS JOB ORDER IS IN CONNECTION WITH A CONCURRENT H-2B CERTIFICATION APPLICATION. This is a temporary job opportunity. The landscape worker will landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools such as but not limited to ; lawn mowers , blowers, hedge trimmers, concrete saws, rototillers, and aeriators,. Worker will typically perform a variety of tasks which can include any combination of the following; mowing, trimming, planting, sod laying, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and installation of segmental wall units. Daily use of lawn mowers, blowers, and hedge trimmers. This job opportunity also requires the landscape worker to be able to lift or carry a 50 pound basket full with grass that is attached to the mower. ( since the basket gets full with grass clippings during the mowing. ) This job opportunity also requires the landscape worker to be able to lift a wheelbarrow 50-90 lbs. filled with dirt, rocks , pavers, logs, sand, and gravel. There is one position available for this job. The hourly wage for this job is 15.36. The employer will use a single workweek as it is standard to compute wages due. The worker will be paid every other week . Home Landscape Materials Inc. will offer medical insurance for the worker as it will be deducted form the paycheck. The worker will work Monday to Friday. with a total of 40 hours per week. The dates of need for this position are from March 30, 2020 to October 30 of 2020. Worker will be working in more than one place. As the landscaping services that Home Landscape Materials Inc.. provides , and the accounts that we currently hold requires that we work in different towns and it is not always the same work site in which the worker will be attending. Home Landscape Materials Inc. will also provide housing for the worker. The employer will make all the necessary deductions required by law The worker will be charged $360.00 rent and utilities, however housing is optional. In addition if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period , the employer will provide advanced payment for transportation and subsistence from the place of employment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the work is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place where the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return to work due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at the rate of $ 12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $ 55.00 per day with receipts. The geographical area of intended employment where the worker will be work is in the following counties, DuPage and Will. The worker will be transported to the job site to any of the counties listed above by the employer , on any given day of the week, where work is to be performed for that week. Applicants will not need to reside or have to stay the night in any other place or county besides the one the employer will secure for the employee. In the event that the employee choose to stay with the employer, but looking for another place to lodge is always an option for the worker. In any given case the employer will arrange to pick up the worker where the worker chooses to stay. The employer will reimburse H-2B worker in the first work week for all Visa , visa processing , border crossing and other related fees , including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker( but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker.). The employer will provide the worker without a charge or deposit charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20 (k).
