We are currently seeking a Senior Radiology Support Associate for our Radiology Administration department located at 7900 Rollins Road in Gurnee, IL. This is a resource position and is limited benefits eligible. Hours will vary, Day or Evening shift, depending upon location with possible weekends. Must be flexible to float to Vernon Hills and Highland Park.
In this role, you will:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patients
- Verify insurances
Our ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One -two years prior secretarial experience and medical terminology preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 25-35 words per minute required
- Insurance knowledge preferred
